Situated in the Valdegovía Valley, Camping Angosto offers everyone that gets to it the possibility of enjoying this exceptional environment, rich in historical-artistic and natural heritage. The rusticity of the villages, the traditional farming and cattle raising, the forest and animal richness, together with the naturalness and customs of its people are a perfect sssetting to discover nature in its purest state.
NATURAL HERITAGE
In Valdegovía, a beautiful and unknown corner of Alava, several geographical circumstances meet to create a distinctive
landscape with places of great interest, such as the Valderejo Natural Park and its surroundings, the Monastery of
Angosto in Villanañe, or San Martín de Valparaíso in Villanueva.
Hiking along the footpaths and trails that connect the different villages and getting lost in its pine, beech and oak forests mean to get inside a natural environment that is growing scarcer day by day.
Not only are there many routes for hiking, but it is also possible to get to know our landscape by bike, horse riding or to practise mycology along the way.
For people who seek stronger
emotions in contact with nature; the Valley's steep mountain ranges offer
the possibility of practising in their walls climbing, abseiling, zip wiring
and other kinds of activities such as hang gliding, paragliding, and so on.
As regards the rivers, there is plenty of fish. There are also some areas prepared for those who are fond of canoeing, as well as bathing areas in Angosto and Espejo that can be enjoyed in the summer season.
Camping Angosto facilitates the practice of these activities, making all the necessary equipment available to the visitors, as well as instructors and public liability insurance.
