The River
The river that passes by the campsite is called the Tumecillo, an affluent of the Omecillo River, which in turn converges with the River Ebro. It is a river with a great biodiversity of both fauna and flora, where the predominant species are small birds like the martin, the blackbird and the kingfisher. On your walks you will discover ash trees, willows, alders and poplars. Along the course of both the Tumecillo and the Omecillo Rivers, you will find various stretches for catch-and-release fishing. In its passage through Espejo, the Tumecillo is transformed into a bathing area, culminating into a fluvial pool in a poplar grove that forms part of the Parks of Álava.
