The river that flows by the campsite is called the Tumecillo, an area of great biodiversity. On your walks you will discover ash, willow, alder and poplar trees and small birds such as the plane, the kingfisher and the blackbird.
Villanañe is the borough where the campsite is located. As you walk through the village you will discover the best-preserved tower house in the whole of Álava, the Tower-House of the Varona family, and the sanctuary of Angosto, a woodland with tables and barbecues.
Valdegovía is our valley and our municipality. It consists of thirty borough councils much like Villanañe, and forms one of the largest municipalities in the entire Basque Region. We are surrounded by three natural parks.

From San Zadornil, we can access a part of this huge park in northern Burgos.
Along a forest track surrounded by beech trees we reach the Salto del Nervión and its 300m waterfall.
Stroll in the countryside and discover one of the most important rock climbing areas in Northern Spain.
Come to the Valdegovía Nordic walking centre and practise this sport on different free-access routes in the open air.
The mountain bike centre at Valderejo-Añana has 7 routes of varying levels of difficulty.
Enjoy this adventure camp, kayaking, bungee jumping, paintball… and more activities on the banks of the River Ebro.
Among the remains of the palace and the church, around 1,000 different species from the five continents await you.
